Volunteers Wanted

Mention the words Brynaman Cinema and the majority of residents in the Amman Valley will have fond memories of going to this special place, steeped in history and tradition.

The cinema has recently celebrated its 80th birthday and with state of the art projection system, Dolby sound and the reintroduction of the "love seats" the cinema has 1920's charm with 21st century comfort.

However most people are unaware that the cinema is run by volunteers and to ensure that the cinema stays to entertain future generations of families we are looking for people who would like to give some of their time to support this community run asset.

We also offer volunteer placements for young people who are taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme.
